There is an interesting set of Mumma document archives at http://www.mumma.org/archives/index.html . Included is a link to a PDF document with an article entitled "John Moomaw and Anna Barbara Ranck" (NewsV1N1.pdf -- Moomaw Newsletter, Vol.1, No. 1, Fall 1983, published in Greenfield, Ohio). He was confirmed in 1769 according to the article. He was baptised at the Muddy Creek Union Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
