"Your Grandfather Fritz died in 1965, Margaret said. Fritz married again. Her name was Marion Larson. After Fritz died she married a guy named Louis LOEFFLER, and they moved to Alexandria, Minnesota, which is west central Minnesota. She said that Fritz was buried in Minneapolis."

Marion Loeffler, 83

Marion Loeffler, 83, Osakis, formerly of Minneapolis, died March 27, 2005 at Community Memorial Home in Osakis.

Marion Bernice was born to Carl and Josephine (Frommes) Larson on June 14, 1921 in Minneapolis. Her first marriage was to Fred Fredrick. They raised one son. After Fred's death, Marion married Louis Loeffler in 1970. They retired to Alexandria near Lake Darling and were active members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria. After their health began to fail, the Loefflers moved to the nursing home in Osakis. Louis passed away in February of 2000.

Marion worked for many years in the optical department at the Sears Department store. Some of Marion's hobbies included traveling, dancing, playing cards, going bowling and fishing. She enjoyed people and getting together with neighbors and friends. She was a kind and loving mother and grandma who will be lovingly remembered.

She is survived by her children, Roger Fredrick of Minneapolis, Austin (Darlene) Loeffler of Brooklyn Park, Harriet Sibell of Osakis, Irene Heath of Minneapolis; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Fred Fredrick and Louis Loeffler; two sons-in-law, Sheldon Sibell and Bruce Heath.

A Mass of Resurrection was held on April 2 at Immaculate Conception Church in Osakis with Fr. Dick McGuire officiating. Pallbearers were Kevin Heath, Rachele Jones, Tom Loeffler, Cheri Montgomery, John Loeffler, Sue Crotteau, Denise Arkfeld and Mary Schwartz. Honorary bearers were Chad Heath and Patricia Bailey. Entombment was at St. Mary's Cemetery in Alexandria.

Arrangements were with Roy-Hetland Funeral Home in Osakis.
