From "Representative Men and old Families of Rhode Island" vol. 3, p. 1570 -- Robert Spencer removed to North Kingstown and then to Exeter. Only he and William relocated to North Kingstown.

According to Savage's genealogical dictionary, Roger moved to Charlstown in 1653, was a mariner until 1699. His daughter Mary married John Hull of Boston and then Sir William Phips who was made governor of Massachusetts. Lastly she married Hon. Peter Sargent.
