According to a note in the Spencer file of the North Kingstown Free Library, William was left the farm in East Greenwhich. His grandson was left lot #132.

In ("In Laws", Box 5, Folder 12, Violet E Kettelle Genelaogical Collection CS69.K48 2002, April 2002) Violet Kettelle writes that his will was presented 12-30-1776 in East Greenwich. She has his death in 1776, however (Fall).
