Wanton's children are enumerated in notes from Violet Kettelle "("Vital Records" Violet E. Kettelle Genealogical Collection, Box 5, Folder 15)" on page 48 "North Kingstown births".

There was a Wanton Spencer who jumped from his upstairs window on 8/26/1827 according to the Providence newspaper, shortly after wife Lydia W. Spencer died at age 29 on 8/24/1827. This doesn't quite seem like the same Wanton Spencer, though.
